How the score changes during the day
Your morning score is the most the day can be. As you move and train, Push lowers it to reflect the load. It never climbs back up.
Morning score and current score
- The morning score settles once every signal your watch records has arrived, or at noon, whichever comes first.
- The current score is where today's activity has left it. Today shows both, from morning to now.
- The score only ever falls during the day. Points are never given back later.
What a day costs
- A rest day costs nothing.
- An ordinary day for you costs only a little.
- The more you do beyond your normal, the more it comes down.
- One hard day can move you a band or two, but it can't wipe out a well-recovered morning.
Judged by the time of day
Push compares what you have done so far with what you have usually done by this time of day. A hard morning shows up in the morning, not only at night.
Judged against you
Load is measured against your own usual day, so the same run costs a beginner more than a marathoner. In your first days, before Push knows your usual, it allows for ordinary movement instead. How load is worked out is in Strain and training load.
Questions
Why did my score drop when I did not work out?
Everyday movement counts too. An ordinary day costs only a little.
Can a workout ever take me from Primed to Reset?
No. A hard session can move you a band or two, but one day can't erase a well-recovered morning.
Push is a general wellness feature, not a substitute for professional medical judgment, does not account for existing conditions or medications.
