Strain and training load
Strain is today's training load, compared with your usual day. It is what lowers your score as the day goes on.
Workouts
Each workout counts by how long it lasted and how hard your heart was working. Harder minutes count for more than easy ones.
| Input | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Workout heart rate | Health, recorded by your watch |
| Resting heart rate | Health |
| Your age | Health, used to estimate your maximum heart rate |
| Biological sex | Health, used to fine-tune how hard a workout counts |
- A workout with no heart rate falls back to its active energy, never to zero.
- Two apps recording the same session are counted once.
Everyday movement
Active energy outside workouts counts as well, so a busy day on your feet shows up even without a workout.
